6 Simple Ways To Build Confidence

1. Create Success Everyday

Major success builds upon smaller success. Being successful improves your confidence level, so try to do things daily that you know will make you feel successful. Each morning create small goals for yourself. Make sure those goals are measurable and doable.

2. Next decision you make, don’t ask for advice

To be confident you have to be comfortable with yourself. Self-confidence means being assured of one’s personal judgment, ability, and power. Trust your own abilities, have a general sense of control, and believe that, within reason, you will be able to do what you wish, plan, and expect.

The next decision you make, challenge yourself not to ask for advice. Then, you will experience the feeling that you were able to use your own judgment in the decision-making process without the opinions of others. You will find that your judgment is more important than anyone else’s.

3. Block Negative Thinking

Confidence means being certain of a desired outcome. You can’t be certain of a desired outcome if your mind is poisoned with negative thoughts. When you find yourself thinking negatively, think a positive thought immediately. Over time, this will shift your thinking.

4. Increase Your Knowledge and Get Experience

Once you are certain you can do something by having experience, confidence is sure to follow. Knowledge and experience increase self-confidence.

5. Leave the past where it belongs, behind you

No matter what happened in the past, leave it where it belongs, in the past. From this day and going forward, you are living a new, bold life. Stop yourself from thinking about the past every chance you get. Learn from the past, but live in the present.

6. Sometimes it’s better not to think

Do as Nike’s logo: Just Do it. Let me revise: just do it with minimum thought. Sometimes it is better not to think so much because we tend to create fear this way. You won’t know what you’re good at unless you try, and you won’t know how good you will become if you give up.
